Citywide Search for 'New Jersey Zombie' Posted: January 15, 2007 |
| Following yesterdays gruesome discovery of the USA's first confirmed zombified victim, Newark Dock Worker Bernard Hill, a citywide search is being undertaken by New Jersey Police today, in the hopes of apprehending Mr. Hills killer, the Undead person who has become known locally as the 'New Jersey Zombie'. In a Police statement
issued today, it was confirmed that Mr. Hill was killed sometime over
the weekend, presumably during his late shift unloading containers.
Mr. Hill worked in an isolated section of the vast unloading yard
at Port Newark. Security cameras at the site show a single person of African decent leaving the area. He was described to be "walking in a sluggish and zombified like state". The Undead is thought to be an African Immigrant stowaway, one of thousands fleeing his home country, overrun with the undead infestation. See related story Police
are patrolling the Elizabeth Channel in the event that the Undead
fell over into the water. Police Spokesperson Capt. Ted Dwyer said
"We are concentrating on a five mile radius of the dock area.
We think it would have followed a none linear path, and is still in
the vicinity. We urge citizens to not approach it if it is seen, but
to call 911 immediately."
