Ice Station - 9 killed in Undead Attack |

Authorities became concerned after receiving a frantic call from a team member (Police have declined to unidentify at this point). The caller described an unknown intruder outside the facility. The person seemed intent on gaining entry. He was reportedly 'non responsive to calls to identify himself. Acting in an uncoordinated manner, aggressive and unhampered by the sever -30 degree weather conditions." Authorities, in a statement released today, did confirm that at first, efforts were made by the researchers to identify and render aid to the person. Under the assumption that he was perhaps disorientated due to the cold and in need of assistance, they did seek to help him. This may have proved their undoing. Upon realizing that the intruder was a possible reanimate, they attempted to keep him from gaining entry. Unfortunately, access was gained through a side door that exhibited signs of forced entry. Police confirmed that upon investigation, the death and reanimation of all 9 researchers was discovered. They were secured within the facility until a military team could be dispatched to neutralize them. One photo was released. It shows an ominous face staring into an outside security camera. The only clue as to the assailants identity. It has also been reported that one unidentified person in a post reanimated state was found 3 miles away frozen and immobile. It is believed, although unconfirmed, that this is the assailant pictured on the security camera photo. |

Nine
members of a remote research team were confirmed as 'dead and infected'
today. The grim discovery was made by a rescue party dispatched in
