Businesses are closed. Shelves are empty. Gas stations are dry. This is the reality of a city in panic. It's human nature to try and fix a situation by simply buying something.... Anything. It's easy, it's a quick fix, it's hoarding. We have seen it time and time again. In California even a moderate quake sends people frantically to their cars, to burn gas driving to the station in order to get more gas so that they can drive. It makes little sense, but it makes us feel like we are at least doing something. Fixing things Then, according to that theory, the entire city of Newark, New Jersey is 'doing something' about the errant Zombie within their midst. According to a local gun shop owner (who wishes to remain anonymous) "People were lining up, yes, there are still lines outside. But we only have so much stock. So when these ran out at mid day, people still wanted to buy anything that made a 'bang'. People even brought all my Tazers. Now I am not a Zombie expert but ..Tazers???
