Yesterday, Eldrich's body tested positive for the necro-mortosis virus, prompting a quarantine of nearby town 'Needles,' Turning it into a virtual ghost town with the temporary closing down of many local business's who thrive on the popular attractions of Lake Havasu and liberal local gambling laws. Eldrich's camera and 7 spent rounds from a 9mm hand gun were found at the foot of a nearby abandoned tin mine. These digital photo's are believed to be the last taken by Eldrich before entering the mine. (see first photo above)
The Mojave desert has many abandoned mines and caves. They have long ago been tapped of their wealth and now lie open and empty. It is believed that Eldrich, having been captivated by local stories of undead living in such caves, convinced his two companions to join him on this ill fated 'zombie hunt.' ZWN's 'Zombie hunter' expert Capt, 'Hawk' Heath studied these photo's. He stated that "in my opinion, it's a 'necro.' Notice it's dazed look. Even the flash of the camera isn't phasing it. Anyone, or anything that had spent as long below the surface as it looks like it has done, would at least shy away from light." Photo #4 is the last in the camera. (below). It seems that the figure has become alert to the presence of Eldrich and his companions.
I have to say, it looks like it's in it's final stages. Two or three months since death. Mortosis and atrophy have set in. It probably would not have lived much longer if they hadn't found it." A sheriffs spokesperson has confirmed that the tin mine has been sealed off awaiting specialist resources including SWAT and Hazmat teams. No attempt has been made to enter the mine at his point |
