An apparent spate of arson attacks have been carried out on seven Alabama mortuaries, each within a fifty mile range of the other. Suspicions were raised that a serial arsonist was at work, when specific characteristics were found at each incident. Police have been unwilling to release any information regarding a motive. However, a ZWN source has revealed that Alabama Police suspect the work of a cult known locally as 'The Templars of God,' an ultra right-wing Christian organization.

The question most frequently asked, is why attack mortuaries? and even in one case, a cemetery? The answer may lie within the beliefs of the Templar of God.

They have spoken publicly about their beliefs on many occasions. Differing from other fundamental Christian organizations, they state that they believe the uprising of the undead is not written in the Scriptures, and is, in fact, entirely preventable. As indicated in their rousing chants, they shall be the ones to "grab the sword of fire, and smote the pagan beast thus."

Desecration and vandalism
Our insider claims that The Templars of God firmly believe that destroying the mortuaries and cemeteries, and vandalizing the tombs and desecrating the dead by decapitation, will prevent the dead from rising.

Local church leaders denounce the actions of the Templars. Even Government authorities have stated clearly that, "this is a pointless act, born out of fear. It can only bring untold suffering to the already bereaved and mourning. Necro-Mortosis has NOT arrived in the USA to any significant degree. And more importantly, the dead do not rise simply because they have expired. Necro-Mortosis is a disease. It has to be contracted through the blood or saliva. This is not like the horror movies. People don't just die and wake up again. You have to be exposed in order for reanimation to occur.
