Cave Zombie mystery to be solved?

Mystery of 'cave zombie' finally to be solved? Needles, Az. USA- (AP) Posted: July 24, 2007 David Lee Weber (26), through tragedy, became known to all as the 'cave zombie'. His story mystified America. How could the West Coast's first confirmed case of Necro-Mortosis have become exposed? Why was he found in a reanimated state in a cave? and who was harboring and caring for him? David's mother, Anne Weber, 72 was arrested in June. It is suspected that she aided her mortosis stricken son by shielding him from the police, restraining him and feeding him. Discarded raw meat packages and freshly killed animal carcases were found littering the cave where David Weber dwelled. Formal charges of harboring a known reanimate were made today, but It is believed that due to her age, state prosecutors will accept a plea bargain. However, Ann Weber will have to answer some very difficult questions, such as: how did her son contract the virus?

The final image in the camera of an ill fated 'Zombie Hunter' shows David Weber after reanimation. This photo lead police to discover Weber's whereabouts.	National Guard troops preparing to enter the cave. David Weber was neutralized soon afterwards.
Mysterious trip: It is believed he recently returned from a brief and somewhat mysterious trip to South America. But following his return, David Weber was reportedly seen by neighbors. His health appeared to be fine. Then there is a second secretive trip shortly afterwards. This time to San Francisco. This was followed by further sightings of him upon his return to the small town of Needles, Arizona. Gill Garcert, state appointed attorney for Ann Weber has confirmed her willingness to talk and tell the prosecution all she knows. If convicted of harboring a known Necro-Mortosis contaminate or reanimate, Weber could have faced up to 10-15 years prison under the currant Patriot Act. David Weber's presence was finally discovered following the disappearance of three local amateur 'zombie hunters'. Their camera was discovered days later at the cave entrance, with the final shots showing an image of David weber in a clearly reanimated state.
