They were encountered in the abandoned Mojave desert tin mine, cordoned off since tuesday's discovery by 'search and rescue' parties of the camera and last photos's of a third missing man - Jason Eldrich (29). Grant Selfride (54) and John Brooker (28) were seen on the photo's entering the tin mine. The photo's were not time stamped, but authorities believe they were taken at mid may. The reanimate on the photographs is at present unidentified. However, house to house enquiries are being made in and around the town of Needles, and nearby Bullhead City. An entire platoon of National Guard reserves has been stationed outside the tin mine since it became the focus of media attention on Tuesday. A legion of press, news anchors, curious locals, armature 'zombie hunters', and souvenir collectors, have been constantly trying to gain a closer view beyond the 100 yard perimeter hastily set up in the early hours of tuesday evening. Local police have been criticized for not effectively quarantining the area. In response the local sherif's office points out that Needles is surrounded by desert on all sides. Making it difficult to impose a strict cordon. Eight
black hawk helicopters with night vision arrived yesterday. They were
employed as of last evening to patrol the surrounding desert area. |
