It was later confirmed by autopsy that Eldrich had contracted the Necro-Mortosis virus. Soon afterwards, it was announced that Needles would be immediately quarantined . Upon further discovery it was declared that the undead assailant, who had become known both locally and nationally as 'The cave zombie' was local Bullhead City resident David Lee Weber. Authorities were quick to react. Imposing a strict quarantine on Bullhead City. The effects of these twin exclusion zones has been devastating on Bullhead's economy. It is a thriving area that takes full advantage of the liberal gambling laws. Casino's line the streets, hotels run parallel along Lake Havasu. A spokesperson for the local Chamber of Commerce Shelley Gerr said "This has had a terrible impact on our whole community. The larger hotels and casino's will be able to ride it out, but many smaller businesses will find it hard to pull through." It is still unknown at this time how Weber contracted the virus. He was discovered inhabiting the old abandoned tin mine by Eldrich and two of his friends (who met similar fates). Weber's 72 year old Grandmother Ann Weber was arrested on June 19th. She has been charged with hiding and feeding him in his reanimated state deep within the mine. |
