Returns to Cuba Cuban
media has saturated the airwaves for the last 24 hours with reports
suggesting a return to normalcy for it's people. Relatively little collateral damage has occurred to Cuba's infrastructure, however, several major fires, left unchecked, are still raging within the rural areas. Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, had not been seen for the last week, sparking several rumors of his abandoning his office and fleeing to an unknown destination. However, he returned to the public eye today in a media blitz that seemed designed to coordinate with the states efforts to show that the crisis was over,

Beaches
closed "We get most of them," said Capt. Hardcort. "Trawlers get others. A couple have washed to shore though. We had to close seven beach's last week. Same may happen again this week. A floater washed up. Thrashing about. No legs. Fish must have eaten them. But it saw people and was still trying to make its way up the beach. Dragged itself 30 feet or so before we were able to suppress it." Florida
