Drug Gangs Shoot Through National Guard Roadblock! |

National Guard troops exchanged automatic weapons fire with heavily armed suspected Miami gang members attempting to shoot through a Mortosis Quarantine Checkpoint on Interstate 95 early this morning.

According
to National Guard and police reports, at about 2:30 AM this morning,
six SUV’s approached “Checkpoint Alpha,” the first
of four checkpoints on I-95 north leading out of the city. Troops
and Mortosis inspectors approaching the vehicles came under immediate
automatic weapons fire, as the SUV’s suddenly speeded forward
and through the Checkpoint. National Guard troops returned fire, succeeding
in stopping the vehicles about one mile past the checkpoint. Four
National Guard soldiers were injured, one seriously and at least 8
gang members were killed and one civilian is reported to also have
been seriously injured in the ensuing firefight.
