A planned week long anti-war protest at the National Mall was disrupted early this morning. Several calls were made to the police following a series of bizarre disturbances and attacks on the gathering protesters. One individual was arrested and taken away by police in an unmarked van for quarantine and detention.

According to local media, the unidentified male was attempting to' bite, scratch and cause general chaos.' One witness, Jaqueline Whendt said, "He looked really high, and was dressed very rough, but he was moaning like a zombie. and stretching his arms out. At first people were just annoyed by him. It was obvious he wasn't really a necro. But then he started biting and that's when we all started to freak out a bit."

Police were already on the scene monitoring the gathering protestors. According to Capt. Field "We quickly isolated the man in question, and with the use of tazers brought him to the ground. We could see he was high. Fortunately we have not ever had to see an undead up close, but we are trained to recognize the symptoms. We have dealt with many people high on drugs and we could tell he was high. The tazer confirmed it. As we understand, tazers have no effect on an undead."

Capt. Field continued "Praise should be given to the crowd. They did not panic. They did the right thing, calling 911."
