Feinen was assisting an ambulance crew who had responded to calls from several motorists, witnessing a woman (unnamed) wandering the desert near the freeway. As reported previously, the woman, who had serious lacerations to her face and neck became distressed whilst being wheeled on a gurney into the Seven Palms Memorial Hospital's emergency entrance. She attacked Feinen, biting her repeatedly, causing multiple wounds and serious blood loss. Nathan Frist, a quick thinking security guard, managed to use the gurney to pin the woman to the wall. This allowed hospital staff to call Police who responded within minutes and determining that the woman was a reanimate. Responding Officer Cole Fraser shot her in the head repeatedly. She was confirmed 're killed' at the scene. Quarantine Hospital statement Unfortunately, due to government regulations involving reanimate attacks, her body cannot be released for burial, but her ashes will be returned to family members for a private funeral at a date as yet unknown.
