Lynnette Feinen, the 28 year old nurse involved in yesterdays undead attack has died as a result of sever injuries sustained during the assault. Feinen was assisting an ambulance crew who had responded to calls from several motorists, witnessing a woman (unnamed) wandering the desert near the freeway. As reported previously, the woman, who had serious lacerations to her face and neck became distressed whilst being wheeled on a gurney into the Seven Palms Memorial Hospital's emergency entrance. She attacked Feinen, biting her repeatedly, causing multiple wounds and serious blood loss. Nathan Frist, a quick thinking security guard, managed to use the gurney to pin the woman to the wall. This allowed hospital staff to call Police who responded within minutes and determining that the woman was a reanimate. Responding Officer Cole Fraser shot her in the head repeatedly. She was confirmed 're killed' at the scene. Quarantine Feinen, who had worked for Seven Palms Memorial Hospital for only 5 months, was rushed to an emergency, high security quarantine facility at an unknown location. In a short statement from Homeland Securities, it was reported that "Feinen died as a result of complications following yesterdays undead incident. She sustained a short but ferocious attack by a reanimate, upon admittance to our facility Feinen went into cardiac arrest, she had received a high level of the toxic Necro-Mortosis virus from the biting injuries, and even if she would have survived it is thought that she would have slipped into full blown Necrosis and reanimated within days." Hospital statement The hospital also released a statement "We extend our deepest sympathies to Lynnette Feinen. She was a dedicated and hard working, valuable member of our staff. Her energy and enthusiasm will be missed by all who worked with her." Unfortunately, due to government regulations involving reanimate attacks, her body cannot be released for burial, but her ashes will be returned to family members for a private funeral at a date as yet unknown.
