According to eye witnesses aboard TRI West flight 214, a lady in her mid 50's complained of feeling ill about half way through the flight. A short while later she 'convulsed and began shivering violently'. After examining her a steward advised the crew to make an emergency landing. "She seemed to be going into cardiac arrest" confirmed the unnamed airline attendant. She died minutes later. Reanimation The deceased traveler began to move and moan. This was followed by an uncoordinated attempt to stand. Passengers and crew managed to restrain her from further movement. She was eventually bound to the seat with improvised restraints made of packing tape and a belt. In an unusual move, all passengers were requested to relocate to the front area of the plane. A make shift curtain was held up by stewardesses using airline blankets. The passenger was re killed minutes later. The method employed by the quick thinking airline staff has not been elaborated on by TRI West Airlines. Questions raised The body was removed by FBI and Home Security agents when the plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Atlanta. All 115 passengers and 8 flight crew have been taken to a temporary quarantine facility to undergo routine Mortosis screening. TRI West Airlines, the small, independent Texas based airline has defended it's passenger screening process. At a hastily arranged press conference, a spokesperson for the airline read a written statement this afternoon, "TRI West Airlines takes very seriously all means of assuring complete protection for our flight guests. Necro-Mortosis is something our staff are trained to recognize, a result of which is the quick thinking action our flight employees were able to employ and consequently were able to avert a serious in flight incident." The TRI West Airlines spokesperson continued, "It's something we live in constant awareness of, and will continue to implement new ways of protecting our flight guests". An internal review and investigation will be held immediately to ascertain why the infected passenger was able to board flight 214. We are working closely with the FBI and Homeland Securities in this matter."
