Undead Outbreaks Fall Sharply In Japan

Figures released today by Japan's Health, labor and Welfare Minister, . Akira Nagatsuma, claim that the number of confirmed cases of full blown Necro-Mortosis have dropped significantly in the first quarter of this year compared to 2009.

Japan has always maintained a lower ratio of undead related incidents compared to many of its neighboring countries. However, the numbers provided today bear significant validation that whilst the Mortosis virus is still prevalent in Japan, it has at least temporarily, stabilized.

Welcome news
The news has been greeted warmly by Japan's embattled Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama. Recent pressure from the house of representatives has motivated Hatoyama to increase Japan's internal security measures. Including the addition of 2000 special operations troops dedicated to eradicating any emerging Undead hot spots quickly.

Geographically, Japan has a strong defense against the spreading undead virus. It's natural island structure adds significant fortification, and reduces exposure to the Nerco-Mortosis virus.

Workplace training
Japan has developed a 'Dealing with Necro-Mortosis' training class for all managerial levels. This three day mandatory course is strictly enforced. It has been credited with helping reduce the number of outbreaks this quarter. All participants must be schooled in state approved methods for recognizing a mortosis carrier, and how to effectively subdue or restrain them until governmental help can arrive. Classes include medical training, trauma counseling, self defense and light firearms training.

The last serious outbreak was in June 2008
