Survivors of Convoy Found
Alive Related report: Russian convoy massacre Posted: July 26th, 2008 More survivors of last weeks convoy attack have been found in the area of Altay Krai.
The convoy was dispatched by the Russian government to assist in a forced evacuation of Biysk. However, as the single line of vehicles, many ill suited for the terrain, slowly cut a path through the little used roads, trouble began to develop. Vehicles broke down or became mired in mud. Disaster finally came in the form of a spectacular crash as one of two 'Undead Response Trucks' careened into the ravine below as a rural bridge failed to hold it's heavy weight. This effectively cut off the convoy who were then left prey to the undead whom had been following slowly but relentless. Survivors
found As a rescue attempt scrambled to reach the stricken convoy, reports circled within the media of the disaster. Anger and questions were leveled at senior officials who authorized the haphazard evacuation. Media outlets such as Pravda openly questioned the logistical reasoning behind the massacre. "It seems the people would have been far safer if they had simply stayed within the safety of their own homes." said one report. "The heavy laden 'Undead Response Trucks' became unmanageable in the small rural roads, and when the final attack occurred, the soldiers, far from rising to the call of duty, chose to hide away, protected in their armored vehicles as the citizens, unarmed, were preyed upon outside." Such harsh criticism of the Government is rarer these days as President Putin tries to stem dissent and dissatisfaction with it's Governments overall response to the world wide Necro-Mortosis threat.
