Containment Breach at Research Lab |
|
|
The high security research labs at the D.I. Ivanovsky Institute of Virology in downtown Moscow were raided early this morning by elements of the Russian Army. Reports indicate that security personnel and orderlies became the focus of the raid following reports of several reanimations. Preliminary indications that at lease 3 Institute employees were in a state of early mortosis and reanmination within the facility’s dormitory. At about 4 am local time, they apparently attacked and killed 6 co-workers, including Dr. Alexi Imohov, Director of Necro-Mortosis Research for the Russian Academy of Sciences. |

Suppressed: Fearing
a major outbreak, over 500 soldiers raided the facility, rekilling all
43 Undead test specimens and 4 reanimated security guards. Preliminary
reports state 65 total Reanimates were rekilled in the action, along
with Three soldiers and two civilians killed by either Undead attacks
or friendly fire. Quarantined: Assistant Director of Necro-Mortosis Research, Polina Muskacich, is shocked, “Dr. Imohov and our team are involved in cutting edge research to find a useable vaccine for the undead virus. We are breaking new ground every day, but we still in the infancy of this science. In fact, I know of nothing developed by this lab that would even be safe to inject into a healthy adult without serious side effects or death. “The serum the employees stole, referred to as AV-D ('Ambulare -Vigere - D', is our most advanced project. It involves injecting infection victims with a chemically weakened version of the Necro-Mortosis virus and massive autoimmune stimulation therapies derived by our A.I.D.S. research. We are trying to find a way to make a person’s immune system learn to fight the infection on its own. The project has had some modest success, not to the level of XL-6 the new decelerator/inhibitor currently being researched by Amcalon corporation of California. “I am afraid the employees who injected themselves with this drug might have mistaken our enthusiasm for its early results as an indication we had found a cure. Unfortunately, if a healthy person receives this treatment, the weakened virus will still eventually infect and kill them.” “Today’s events have devastated our research,” concluded Muskacich. “The loss of our test specimens, several key researchers, and most of all, Dr. Imohov, has set our program back almost to the very beginning. Hopefully, other scientists will be able to build on our work, because I do not see the Institute doing any serious research again for the next six months.” Copyright 2007 ZombieWorldNews.com.
