Tokyo Undead Attack - Woman Identified

Tokyo, Japan (AP)

The mystery female reanimate who wandered onto Tokyo's bustling subway system wednesday has been formally identified.

Shizuko Asai, 31, was a budget analysis inspector with the Tokyo Metro line. Asai was scheduled to make a site visit to a small maintenance project within the Tozai line on wednesday. It is this information that has helped police to locate the possible source of the necro-mortosis outbreak.

Following the positive identification of Asai, police and special force units are preparing to enter the "area of interest" later today.

The two police, hazmat team and maintenance crew all missing since yesterday, are still unaccounted for at this time. It is thought they were last known to have been in or around the Tozai line maintenance project.

Speculation as to how a lone reanimate could have appeared within commuter traffic on the busy Tokyo subway system had sent shock waves and questions reverberating throughout the city. Japan has only had isolated outbreaks. Priding itself on it's ability to stabilize and contain any threat of this nature.
