"Situation Neutralized" - Subway all clear announced

Tokyo, Japan (AP)

Special forces stormed the Tozai line in what was a dramatic ending to the Tokyo subway incident today.

A 'Pocket' of Undead were found inhabiting a small maintenance area to the north east of the platform where the initial Undead attack occurred last wednesday

According to a police spokesperson this afternoon, a total of nine reanimates were found. This accounts for the remaining hazmat crew and maintenance workers missing since wednesdays attack.

It has become apparent that the wednesday's Undead assailant, Metro budget analysis inspector, Shizuko Asai, was scheduled to make a site visit to the area now known to have housed an Undead infestation.

All reanimates were re killed. There were no reports of police casualties.

Police are unclear on how the initial Undead managed to get into the tunnel and attacked the maintenance crew. It is an area not open to the public, nor readily accessible from the street level. It is possible that the reanimate entered through the tunnel itself. But highly unlikely. The miles of lines that run through the tunnel are live and trains pass through every 6-12 minutes.

Line reopens:
Tokyo's bustling subway system is scheduled to reopen tomorrow. This has been a major disruption to city traffic, putting immense strain upon Tokyo's already burgeoning public transport system.
