The project, to be scripted by Joby Harold, is a "zombie action thriller" based on Snyder's original story: "Set in a quarantined Las Vegas in the not-too-distant future, "Army" revolves around a father who tries to save his daughter from imminent death in a zombie-infested world."

Snyder's role in the upcoming movie has not been announced yet. Although his directing days are pretty much filled for the forseable future with his next project, "Watchmen," based on Alan Moore's popular anti-superhero graphic novel. This is set to begin production this summer for a 2008 opening.
