In a brief press conference held today by the Hannover Police department, It was announced that “John Doe”, who attacked a young Woman in the city of Hannover at the weekend, has been identified. However, the name is being withheld presently until his immediate relatives have been informed.

It was also confirmed that the assailant tested positive for the necro-mortosis virus, This examination result will be welcome news for Helmut Schneider (23). He was arrested following the weekend attack, he has since posted bail but if "John Doe' had proved to be not carrying the undead virus, Schneider would have faced possible murder or man slaughter charges.

Identification
“We were able to identify the undead by his airport uniform, and the ID-Card that was found near the attack. This lead us to the Hannover airport. The fingerprints taken at the morgue finally secured the Identification." Stated the police spokesperson. The Re-Animate was a 35 Year old Ground-Worker on the Flight field. Exactly how he contracted mortosis is unclear at this point. The airport has been searched for possible sources. The normal passenger-transfer will not be infected by this operation."

And in a brief statement from Hannover International, they confirm that all scheduled flights will continue to operate until further notice.

Victim doing well
Ms Koch, who was bitten by the re-animate and lost her left thumb is still in quarantine, but so far is not exhibiting signs of contracted necrosis. “Early signs are very encouraging.” explained Prof. Taler, responsible for the Quarantine "It is too soon to arrive at any conclusions of course, but typically anyone bitten does show signs of advancing necrosis within the first 24 hours."
