Since
the near total recall of coalition forces back to their home soil, in
order to strengthen their own local borders from Undead invasion, Iraq
has spiraled into factional annexation.
Al-Qaeda, Mujahideen Shura Council, Sunni nationalists, Ansar
al-Islam as well as Shia Militias - Media Army and Bad Brig have all
but taken control of the countries regions. Each faction is protecting
it's own area from Zombie insurgency via improvised road blocks and
check points.

River. Anyone approaching not in a vehicle is shot on sight. Identification
is not sought.
Fighting between rival factions seems
to be decreasing due to increased unity.
Many have been drawn together in the belief that the undead
rising is actually a strain of chemical warfare unleashed as part of
the Allied liberation of Iraq. This is a claim that
has always been strongly denied by coalition forces.

Resources Stretched
"The situation is spiraling into tribalism" said Iraqi Prime
Minister Nouri al-Maliki today. "We simply do not have the effective
resources or the adequate training to govern all regions."
"Our soldiers are deserting to protect their own families. Our
police are fighting looters and Zombie uprisings. Our resources are
stretched beyond their limits. Where is the help the west promised
now?."

Coalition General for the south east region General Robert Jameson
said "We
brought them liberty, It was never our intention to govern the country.
The Iraqi army and Police must assume responsibility and regain control"
