In a controversial move today, both the ports of San Diego and Long beach refused to grant entry to the undead infested luxury cruise liner the 'Horizon Dawn.' Port Authority officials stress that although they have great concern for the welfare of the passengers (mostly consisting of US citizens) United States national and civil law states that no vessel that has known contaminants or carriers of the Necro-Mortosis virus, can or will be permitted to enter US shores.

Since learning that their request had been denied, the Horizon Dawn has begun to hold steady a N. WW course at a slow rate of 15 knots.

Within an hour of the Port Authorities decision, three naval assault helicopters were seen leaving the USS Ardene. The Ardene has been shadowing the Horizon Dawn since Monday

The naval operation has faced open criticism from the Democratic side of Congress. Many members voicing concern over the length of time it has taken to launch the assault. Sen Chris Boltham D. Illinois came out swinging this morning, "People are dying while we are still planning strategies This is a ship filled with unarmed, helpless people. They need us now. Not tomorrow."

It is believed that the 'Zombie Hunter' squad requested by the Navy is the famous 'Z-Proof' squad, fronted by ZWN's Captain Heath, however, 'Hawk' Heath is unavailable for this mission and so has dispatched his second in command, 'Big Al' Powner. As many as 40 Navy Seals are also believed to be involved in the operation.
