Scot Chierbeck Fired!

The fallout continues following the April 17th, early morning raid on a New Mexico compound daubed the 'Zombie farm.' The large, secluded complex, hidden within the hills of Albuquerque, was home to a brutal trade - the illegal import of the undead; providing them for sport, hunting and trophy killing. US police authorities announced after the raid, that a' suspicious' video had been confiscated among the assortment of weapons and illegal undead trophies.

Controversial Australian Undead News (AUN) anchor and reporter, Scot Chierbeck is clearly identified in these videos, taking part in what appears to be a series of 'staged' confrontations with the undead. Initial reports suggest that Chierbeck may have been involved in the participation of fake newscasts showing himself and two other, as yet unidentified, male participants, 'hunting stealth like,' a small group of undead.

Media outlets throughout Australia have been quick to point out that these scenes were later packaged and sold as legitimate news reports on AUN.

Fired:
It was reported that Chierbeck's role as anchorman with AUN was terminated today. In a carefully worded written statement released this afternoon, Australian Undead News said "We are saddened by the Revelations of the last week. We as a news organization, strive to uphold the highest level of integrity in our presentations to the public. Therefore, when a situation such as this arises, we will take immediate action to rectify it. We apologize unreservedly for any misinformation Mr. Chierbeck's reports may have given, and assure the public that AUN was not in any way involved in the production of these reports. We wish Mr. Chierbeck success in his future endeavors."

However, Chierbeck's troubles are not over just yet. He could still face charges stemming from his involvement in the participation of the illegal video's. There is a possible maximum sentence of 12 years under Australian law.

Scot Chierbeck faced severe criticism recently during the Jerusalem undead crisis. He was banned from traveling with IDF units following accusations of moving ammunition boxes from their designated locations in an effort to make the soldiers appear more panicked than they actually were.
